Song Dynasty 宋朝

Under Song rule, China experienced a golden age in arts and science but also constant danger from nomads from the North. The Song lost half of their empire, had two of their emperors captured by invadors and fled south. In the Southern capital, another golden period was born but was eventually destoryed by the Mongols in 1271.
